Connecting your domain to Kiyo Hosting

If the domain is managed by Kiyo

Choose the domain from your Kiyo Hosting setup. Kiyo connects the website automatically where possible, checks the result and prepares SSL.

If the domain is managed elsewhere

1. Open the website in Kiyo and choose Connect a domain.
2. Enter the domain you already own.
3. Follow the connection guidance shown for your provider.
4. Save the requested change with the current domain provider.
5. Return to Kiyo and run the connection check.

While changes update

A domain connection may take time to become visible everywhere. Kiyo shows whether the connection is pending, complete or needs another action.

Advanced details: DNS and nameservers

The connection works through domain settings called DNS. Kiyo gives you the exact names and values if a manual change is required, but most customers can follow the guided action without learning how DNS works first.

What happens next

Once the domain reaches Kiyo Hosting, Kiyo verifies the connection and SSL. The website can then use the domain over HTTPS.
