Anyone with access to domain management may be able to change where the domain points or begin a transfer. Use a unique password and enable two-step verification or a security key in Account & Security.

Protection against unwanted transfers

Kiyo protects a managed domain from being transferred without the required account action and verification. The normal view describes the domain as protected; technical transfer status remains available under advanced details.

Secure changes

Important actions such as changing ownership information, transfer settings or sensitive connection details may ask you to verify your identity again.

Keep the contact email current

Security and ownership notices need to reach you. Update the domain contact email before losing access to an old address.

Respond to unexpected activity

1. Do not approve a change you did not request.
2. Secure your Kiyo account and email account.
3. Contact human support immediately.
4. Include the domain name and the unexpected action or message.
