You can keep your current domain

A domain does not need to be registered with Kiyo to work with Kiyo Hosting. You can keep it with its current provider and connect it to your Kiyo service.

Connecting or transferring

• Connect the domain if you want to keep the current registrar.
• Transfer the domain if you want to manage it from your Kiyo account later.

What you will need

You will need access to the account where the domain is currently managed. The exact information required will depend on whether you connect or transfer it.

Connect the domain

1. Open your Kiyo hosting service and choose to connect an existing domain.
2. Enter the domain name you already own.
3. Follow the guided domain check and sign in to your current domain provider when asked.
4. Apply the records Kiyo provides, then return to Kiyo to verify the connection.

What happens next

Kiyo checks the connection and shows a clear status while domain changes take effect. Your domain stays registered with its current provider unless you separately choose a transfer.
