If you bought the domain through Kiyo
Choose the domain during hosting setup or select it from your Kiyo account. Kiyo links the domain to the website and checks that the connection and SSL are ready.
If the domain is registered elsewhere
- Open the website in your Kiyo account and choose Connect an existing domain.
- Enter the domain you own.
- Follow the connection guidance shown for the domain.
- Make the requested change at your current domain provider.
- Return to Kiyo and run the connection check.
While the connection updates
Domain changes are not always visible immediately. Kiyo shows the current connection state and continues checking until the domain points to the website.
Advanced: DNS
DNS is the set of records that tells a domain where its website and other services live. Kiyo leads with the action you need to take; the record names and values remain available under advanced details when you need to enter them manually.
