Transfer is not eligible
This usually means a provider or domain rule currently prevents the move. Check for a recent registration, transfer, ownership change, expiry issue or an extension that uses a different process. Kiyo Support can explain the provider result but cannot override an external restriction.
Transfer code rejected
Request a fresh code from the current provider, copy it without extra spaces and confirm it belongs to the exact domain. Do not share it outside the Kiyo flow or verified support conversation.
Domain is locked
Open the current provider's domain settings and allow transfer out. If the setting cannot be changed, ask the provider whether a security restriction or recent domain change is blocking it.
Approval email not received
Check the domain contact email, spam folder and current provider messages. If the address is wrong or inaccessible, update it where the domain is currently managed and review whether that change creates a temporary transfer restriction.
Transfer is delayed
Review the current Kiyo status and any action shown. If Kiyo says it is waiting for the provider, confirm whether approval is available at the current provider before opening a ticket with both the domain and status.
Transfer was cancelled
Check who cancelled it and the reason shown. Correct the stated issue before starting again. Kiyo can investigate its own request and help interpret a provider response.
Domain is close to expiry
Do not assume the transfer will complete before expiry. Ask Kiyo Support whether renewal with the current provider should be handled first for that domain extension.
Current provider is not releasing the domain
Confirm the domain is unlocked, the code is correct and any provider approval is complete. If all customer actions are done, contact the current provider and open a Kiyo ticket so both sides of the status can be reviewed.
