Troubleshooting

I cannot sign in

Recover access without bypassing password or two-factor protection.

What this usually means

The email or password may be incorrect, the password may need resetting, a two-factor method or security key may be unavailable, the previous session may have expired, or secure account recovery may be needed.

Quick checks

  1. Confirm you are using the primary Kiyo account email.
  2. Enter the password carefully once.
  3. Use Forgot password if the password is uncertain.
  4. Complete the registered two-factor method.
  5. Use an available backup security method or recovery code if appropriate.

What Kiyo may already be checking

Kiyo protects sign-in attempts, verifies the registered second factor and can expire old sessions. It does not reveal whether another person's email has an account.

What to do next

Use the password reset flow for a forgotten password. If the authenticator, security key, recovery codes and account email are unavailable, begin secure account recovery with human support.

Advanced checks

  • Confirm the device clock is correct for authenticator codes
  • Review browser support for a security key
  • Check whether the account email was recently changed
  • Review recovery evidence available for ownership verification

Do not bypass protection
