Registration charge

Registering a domain creates the initial paid registration period. Kiyo shows the registration price and domain extension before checkout.

Renewal charge

A renewal extends the domain registration. Kiyo shows the current renewal price before purchase and before renewal where possible. Provider or extension costs can change over time, so the amount is not promised permanently.

Transfer pricing

Moving a domain to Kiyo can have a transfer charge. Where the extension includes an additional renewal period with the transfer, Kiyo identifies that before confirmation.

Different extensions, different rules

A .com and .co.uk can have different prices and renewal rules. Search and transfer results use current provider information for the exact domain rather than one universal domain price.

Using auto-renew

Auto-renew helps reduce accidental expiry by attempting the next renewal with the saved payment method. Keep the payment method and domain contact email current.
