Billing

Failed payments

Check the cause, update payment information and protect an affected service.

What a failed payment means

The payment provider could not complete the charge. This does not always mean the card is invalid; the bank, authentication step or temporary connection may have prevented payment.

Common causes

  • Expired card
  • Insufficient funds
  • Payment declined by the bank
  • Additional payment authentication required
  • Billing details do not match
  • Temporary provider or connection issue

What to check

  1. Open the failed payment in Billing.
  2. Read the safe error explanation shown by Kiyo.
  3. Check the payment method and billing details.
  4. Complete any bank authentication request.
  5. Update the method or retry payment when the action is available.

What happens to the service

Kiyo warns you before service access is affected where possible and shows any deadline that applies to the specific subscription or domain. There is no invented universal suspension period.

When to contact support

Open live chat if the error is unclear. Use a support ticket when a successful bank charge is not reflected in Kiyo, repeated retries fail, or an important domain or hosting service is at risk.
