Sensitive account changes and verification

Understand why Kiyo can ask for another identity or sign-in check before high-risk actions.

Why another check can appear

A signed-in session alone may not be enough for a high-risk change. Kiyo may ask you to confirm identity or re-authenticate so a stolen or unattended session cannot silently take control.

Actions that may need verification

  • Changing the primary account email
  • Starting or approving a domain transfer
  • Disabling two-factor authentication
  • Removing the last security key
  • Important billing or payment changes
  • Ownership-related account or domain changes
  • Closing the Kiyo account

What verification can involve

Kiyo uses the security methods available for the account and the risk of the action. The exact check is shown at the time; this guide does not promise a single bypass or verification method.

If you cannot complete the check

Do not repeatedly remove or reset other protections. Start secure account recovery or contact human support so ownership can be reviewed without weakening the account.
